Welcome to Whizkin Games!
Introduction
Whizkin Games is a small independant computer game development studio based in Hartlepool, North East UK.

It all started when Jonny Towers, Whizkin Games founder, taught himself to code and programme games as a hobby during lockdown. This put in motion a five year project to create ZetaZania, an epic 2D sci-fi action-adventure game.
​
Whizkin Games will produce 2D story-driven games, with a focus on gameplay, immersive artwork and original music. The studio will take pride in being Independent and will release their own games through online platforms.

The Studio creates create vast, engaging worlds you will love and become immersed in. Each world the studio creates is vibrant and unique, with a quintessentially British sense of humour.​​
Who Are We?
Whizkin Games' development plan is to bring new creative employment opportunities to the area by 2026. Jonny grew up and lives in Hartlepool, he wants to allow more creative people to earn a living and develop their skills in North East England.

Whizkin Games' primary focus will be Creative Talent. Great games are made by talented developers, artists, programmers and musicians who feel valued and are given the opportunity and resources to develop their skills.​
